How to Cheat at Wordament WP7

April 25, 2012

I have gotten the following achievements in Wordament for the WP7.

Ok, so it’s not cheating per se…but, it’s likely not how the game was intended to be played. I am not very good at this game. The best I have gotten is37 words and that put me in the 88th percentile. So, you may be wondering, how did I get the achievements “You’re on top of the world”, “10 in 10”, and “You’re good, real good”. Well, apparently, I am much better at the Spanish version than the English one šŸ™‚ The nice thing about the Spanish mode is there aren’t nearly as many people playing, making it easier to rank in the top 10 and Spanish words are really easy to make up. Just swipe around where the vowels tend to be an voila! I ranked in 1st place quite a few times and I was just guessing. Granted, I do know a very basic amount of Spanish. So, that helped me get the “Autobiographical” achievement. I got that with a 7 letter word. Notice, the words in the Spanish edition are significantly shorter, as well.

I don’t think my cheating ways will get me the other 4 achievements that basically say, “be ridiculously awesome at this game and hope that no one else is signing on”, but I am quite “proud” of my ability to get 4 achievements I really didn’t think I was going to be able to get. Even if my getting these achievements doesn’t actually symbolize that I am good at this game (like their original intention) at least it shows that I am cleaver, which is all being good at this game really shows anyway.

Update 5/2/12: I actually got two moreĀ achievements.
